Reggie Bush #2

Oops Houston, I think you made a mistake. It looks like your management is about as good as your offensive line. By this time next year I am sure you will wish you had that #1 pick back and there is a real good chance you will. The problem is that it will be a new year and there is not another Reggie Bush coming down the pike. Oh well. Congratulations New Orleans. Let the rebuilding begin!

Duke Boys Busted

Why is the story of the Duke athletes so popular among the media? Aren't there thousands of rape cases being worked across the country at any one time? A couple of Blue Devils get accused of rape and it is front page news. ESPN SportsCenter has started off with this story the last two nights. Note to ESPN: Please stop. It is most definitely not the top story of the night. It is only getting that kind of press because the media is making it a bigger deal than it really is. Even a story on women's basketball or hockey would play better to your audience.

Let me just give it to you like the rest of the country sees it. Who cares? What sport do those guys play anyway? Lacrosse? I thought that was just a game my 6th grade gym teacher made up. You mean people actually play Lacrosse in college? Surely they don't get scholarships for it. Next you are going to tell me that someone on the Yale crab soccer team is being charged with battery.

Israel vs Palestine - A Case of You Touched Me Last

You two countries are a shining example to the rest of the world what religion and religious beliefs can do for a people, a region, a country, a set of ideals. I am sure that God above looks down on both of you and shakes his head in frustration. You are acting like a couple kids in the back seat of a car.

"You touched me last."

"No way. You touched me."

"You got me harder. I get to get you back."

You are lucky God does not stop the car and blister you both. To be honest with you, He probably should. I am sure I am not alone in that sentiment.

Scary Movie 4 is as Good as the First Three

I see that Scary Movie 4 is now in the theatres. This is great news. I did not see any of the first three movies, so I am just as excited to see the 4th. Am I missing out on a good thing here? Do I need to rent the first three and stay up all night watching them so I can get caught up? Has anyone seen the fourth? If so, leave me some comments and talk me in to or out of watching the Scary Movie saga. There has to be something here because not many movies make it past the threequel.

Katie Holmes a Scientologist

Well this is really good to know. I think I will be able to sleep easier now. Thanks for breaking that story. Keep me posted on her thoughts on gun control. I will stay glued to the news feed patiently waiting for her insights.

How about leaving Katie alone and letting her have her baby? We can let her and Tom experiment with religion when they can really focus. Tom and Katie, if you want the real answer take a look at Good Friday and Easter Sunday. There is where you will find the truth.

Generals vs. Rumsfeld

Ahh Generals... You know, you are probably right about Mr. Rumsfeld. He may have mishandled the war. He may be only as good as his best advisors. He does look like a character right out of Dilbert. Just from appearances, I don't think I could trust him any farther than I could throw him.

Here's the thing that bothers me though. Where's your loyalty fellas? If you were still serving would you still make these public statements? Does your opinion count now that you are off of the payroll? Has anyone besides the media asked for your opinion? Don't you think the media is just looking for a story and maybe you are looking for one last battle? Is there something more productive you can do with your time? If you still want to serve your country and make America a better place, then why did you retire?

Enjoy your time off guys and have fun with my tax money at the golf course.
